As we reflect on an incredible year at Bluelight UK Ltd, we’re proud to share the milestones that have shaped 2024 and celebrate the progress we’ve made in serving our customers and growing as a family-owned business.
Welcoming the Next Generation
In January, we celebrated a truly special moment as we welcomed the next generation of our family with the birth of Matthew’s son, Oakley. This joyful addition has deepened our sense of purpose, inspiring us to push forward with even greater determination to strengthen Bluelight UK’s legacy and ensure the name thrives for generations to come.
Expanding with a new HQ
This year, we moved into our own acquired land for our brand-new Bluelight UK headquarters. The facility is not just larger but purpose-built to house an expanded stock of ambulances and specialised vehicles. Its strategic location, with easier access to motorways, ensures a smoother experience for our customers, whether visiting us in person or receiving deliveries. This move represents a monumental step in positioning Bluelight UK as a leading supplier of emergency and medical vehicles.
Supporting Vital Causes
We had the privilege of working with multiple NHS Trusts across the country and charities to send ambulances to Ukraine, Uganda, Malta, West Indies and many other projects underway for overseas expansion, which all contribute to critical humanitarian efforts. Supporting such important causes reflects our ongoing commitment to making a difference, both locally and internationally.
Pioneering New Vehicle Projects
Our sales and project management teams have been hard at work this year on multiple new vehicle projects, including:
* High Dependency Units: Designed to meet the highest standards of patient care.
* Mobile Medical Centres: Versatile units capable of delivering healthcare wherever it’s needed most.
* Driver Training Units: Equipping professionals with the vehicles they need for safe and effective training.
These types of projects exemplify our mission to lead the way in providing tailored, high-quality solutions for the medical and emergency sectors.
Growing Our Team
As part of our ongoing growth, we welcomed two new members to the Bluelight team! Our Extended family member Daryl has joined our on-site maintenance team and Matthews' wife Leonne has joined as business development manager after over a decade in recruitment sales, to help strengthen both our customer relationships and online presence/marketing which will further enhance the exceptional service we provide to our clients.
